《绿皮书》影评观后感:像一部好电影一样讲好一个好故事

I decided to watch the movie just because of comments it recieved and all kinds of rewards it was crowned. Acually I do not have at least a bit of appetite for it. One leading role is just too fat, and the other is just too black. And they are both males but not a couple. Yeah, I somehow just indulge myself too much in face and love affairs. However, my personal experience from indifference to zest maybe gives a full expression of the radiance of the movie.

Green Book, directed by Peter Farrelly, starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, tells that a working class Italian-American bouncer(Tony) becomes a driver ofan African-American classical pianist(Dr. Shirley) on a tour of venues through the 1960s American south.

At the beginning, T lost his job as a boucer. He looks fat, rude, babbling and full of failings and failure. Although he himself has all the characteristics to be despised, he is a deep-rooted racist. As the journey goes on, I gradually find that there is something special in him. First, he is really good at beating others. The scene where he beats that man who won“t offer the right piano as said in the contract is cool and uplifting. Maybe at this point I should say he is a trouble shooter. Sometimes touble maker. Then his cute diary letters. Whatever he writes, at least he writes something to his wife. And that makes this man really lovely. Besides, his prejudice doesn”t blind him from art and beauty, ng him a kind of person open mind to the rest of the world, which gives him a chance to become the friend of a black man.
